Videoscope Inspection

Why use a videoscope or remote video camera on any piece of equipment, because as humans we rely on our visual sense to make decisions and a videoscope inspection [Borescope inspection] and a remote video camera lets you see what you normally cannot.  A videoscope inspection or remote video camera can make a difference in a turbine inspection or pipe camera inspection. Typical uses of videoscope inspections are-

 

	Steam Turbines (Steam Path) Why should you have a videoscope inspection of a turbine each year? Because it is 20 to 100 times less expensive than a dismantle of the turbine for a hands on turbine inspection.
